$\frac{1}{2}$ Part of Dry Gin
$\frac{1}{4}$ Part of Creme de Cacao
$\frac{1}{4}$ Part of Sweet Cream

Shake well and strain into cocktail glass.

$\frac{3}{10}$ Part of Brandy

Shake and strain. (In America it is suggested that this cocktail is and was made with Gin. All records go to show however that the "Alexander" is made with Brandy.)

${1} \frac{1}{2}$ Ounce of Cream
$1$ Ounce of Brandy
$\frac{3}{4}$ Ounce of White Creme de Cacao
$1$ Dash of Nutmeg

Shake well with ice in a shaker. Strain into a cocktail glass, then sprinkle with nutmeg.
