Bijou

from The American Bar

  • \frac{3}{4} Ounce of Vermouth Bianco
  • \frac{1}{4} Ounce of Green Chartreuse
  • \frac{3}{4} Ounce of Gin
  • 1 Dash of Orange Bitters

Stir well with ice in a mixing glass. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.

Bijou

  • \frac{1}{3} Part of Plymouth Gin
  • 1 Dash of Orange Bitters
  • \frac{1}{3} Part of Green Chartreuse
  • \frac{1}{3} Part of Dry Vermouth

Mix well with a spoon in a large bar glass; strain into a cocktail glass, add a cherry or an olive, squeeze a piece of lemon peel on top and serve.
